Thursday, Dec. 26 — The Lansing City Council has called a special meeting for Monday night to hear various presentations on the ice storm that’s left tens of thousands of greater Lansing residents without power since Sunday.

The meeting will include presentations from the Lansing Board of Water and Light on storm damage and repairs; the city’s Emergency Management Team on warming shelters; and the Public Service Department’s tree limb removal operations.

The meeting is at 6:30 Monday night in the City Hall chambers on the 10th floor of City Hall, 124 W. Michigan Ave. downtown.
