Xmas cheer

Thursday, Dec. 26— It’s that limbo between Christmas and New Year, and if you have power, you’re probably standing with your head in the fridge wondering what leftovers you’re going to eat for the fifth meal in a row. If you don’t have power, you’re probably either hunkered down in front of a fire or holed up in hotel room. Any which way you cut it, you could probably use a laugh.

Well close the fridge door and douse that fire, because the Eat My Chestnuts Comedy Show will be at The Avenue Caf 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27. San Francisco comedian (and Lansing area native) Bert DiVietri hosts the show, featuring local and working comedians.

There will be drink specials, but try not to get too foggy or you’ll miss the standup, short comedy videos and listening to DiVietri talk about what holiday movies he loves watching in his footy pajamas, Yes, he has footy pajamas
