Monday, Jan. 27 — It’s fun thinking about June these days. No more snow, no more ice, no more wind chill. Just lots of green on trees, screens in the open windows and top-rated Broadway musicals rolling into town.
That’s right: From June 10-15, the touring production for Broadway’s latest breakout mega-hit will ring the doorbell to the Wharton Center. Tickets go on sale for the Tony Award winning “The Book of Mormon” at 10 a.m. this Friday, Jan. 31.
The show features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, creators of the Emmy award-winning animated series, “South Park,” so you may want to check your delicate sensibilities at the door.
