Located in our new space, Studio 60 Theatre, in the basement of the Auditorium. Where can you see a mash up of Greek mythology, 1970s pop culture and roller skating all in one? Xanadu! This campy musical uses Electric Light Orchestra's greatest hits like "Evil Woman" and "Strange Magic" along with the score of the ridiculously disastrous movie starring Olivia Newton-John. As the musical consistently makes light-hearted fun of the 1980 movie, it also tells the story of a discouraged artist visited by ancient Greek muses, including one that particularly inspires him. This production is in collaboration with the Lansing Derby Vixens, Lansing's premier women's flat-track roller derby league. Directed by MSU Faculty, Rob Roznowski.
