Join Homeschool Performing Arts in April as they bring to life the historical maiden voyage of the "unsinkable" RMS Titanic. \'Titanic the Musical\' captures the exhilaration surrounding this technological wonder as well as the hopes and dreams of the many people who were on board. It is both serious and entertaining as 99 cast members portray many real-life individuals who played an integral part in the fateful journey, including Captain E.J. Smith (Nathan Stoll of Dimondale), J. Bruce Ismay (Noah Lukins of Mason), and Isidor and Ida Strauss (Luke Mason of Williamston and Breanne Bishop of Kalamazoo). The aspirations of the crew, staff, and passengers are brought to light and their character revealed as they deal with issues such as class, immigration, and mankind\'s vulnerability in the face of nature. Titanic will take place at the Charlotte Performing Arts Center April 4-12 with performances each Friday at 7pm and each Saturday at both 1pm and 7pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $8 by calling 855-472-1472 or online at www.hpami.org or for $10 at the door.
