Developing unique, strong, and legitimate characters that carry the storyline of your novel well can be taxing. A great story can fall flat with one dimensional characters. From who they are, to what they do, to how they look, to how they speak, readers want to know and understand and/or connect with your characters whether they like them or not! This workshop will give the top 10 tips and additional tools for developing memorable characters. We will also spend some time in a rapid character development lab with a little prize for the team that develops the most memorable character, as well as interviewing each other about characters we've already developed for our stories. Please bring a one pager about one of your currently developed characters to the workshop.
