The Robin Theatre is housed in a 100 year-old building in Lansing's historic automobile manufacturing district, REO Town. In addition to the original tin ceiling and hardwood floors, The space features a beautiful stage, great acoustics, and a welcoming atmosphere. Open to the public on August 1st, 2015, The Robin has hosted musicians (Jazz, Folk, and R&B being mainstays), poets, comedians, actors, visual artists, authors, puppeteers, and some of Lansing's best audiences. The Robin Theatre was founded by Dylan Rogers and Jeana-Dee Allen with the goal of providing a new, beautiful and welcoming alternative space for performing artists and the community at large. In addition to being a great space to take in a show, The Robin is also used as a gathering place for community events, meetings and parties. The space includes a full PA sound system, stage lighting, ADA-compliant restrooms, and seating for up to 99 persons.
