Dogs and their owners took to the streets of Old Town Friday for the annual Howl-oween canine trickor-treating and costume contest. The festivities were hosted by radio host Tim Barron, of WQTX, and Gone 2 the Dogs online pet boutique and sponsored by Preuss Pets, A-1 Lansing Rent all, Sir Pizza and City Pulse. Here’s a look at this year’s top dogs. Photos by Courtney Baker.

Helicopter dog Ohana (above), owned by Allison Cosgrove, took home first place in the dog costume contest.

Marge Bergman’s Tango took home second place for his Robin Hood costume.

Finishing in third place were Crystal and Willow, dressed as characters
from Where The Wild Things Are. The dogs are owned by David Buda and
Angela Cosgrove.
