I know that this article has been out for months, and there's been little to no change. But being a resident for 10 years, and having a home with a shared driveway and garage w/ my neighbor, the ability to park on the street is a MUST. I would not necessarily agree to paid permit parking. The city should post specific days that you can't park on the streets. Example) Tuesdays for street cleaning, or parking only on the south and east sides during the snow storms or whatever
there are a lot of people in this city that have shared drives, pay the same in property taxes, and don't cry about people parking in front of their house, or about people on their lawn.
being from a smaller town with smaller streets, and having no parking laws, it's not a problem there... and shouldn't be an issue here.
