Here's what's going on in town today

Good day on this cloudy Thursday.

Local songstress Betty Baxter brings her silky smooth vocals to the latest installment of Music at the Mansion Thursday. The concert series, hosted by the historic Turner-Dodge House, presents a variety of music in an salon-style setting. Guitarist/bassist Doug Fritch joins Baxter Thursday in the house’s intimate Music Room for an evening of jazz classics. Baxter, who has nearly 60 years of performing experience under her belt, is a regular at Greater Lansing jazz and blues festivals. Last year she was honored by the Jazz Alliance of Mid-Michigan for her impressive career. Proceeds from the show go to the continued restoration and preservation of the Turner-Dodge House. 7 p.m. $10. Turner-Dodge House, 100 E. North St., Lansing.

With International Women's Day taking place this past Tuesday, many in Lansing are looking for opportunities to celebrate and honor women's history. MSU Museum's ongoing exhibit Up Cloche: Fashion, Feminism, Modernity examines the role of clothing in femininity. Today the museum hosts a special tour and talk with the Historical Society of Greater Lansing. 7 p.m. MSU Museum,
