Here's what's going on in town today

Good day on this rainy Thursday.

MSU may be out of the NCAA tournament, but basketball fans in the Greater Lansing area still have plenty to celebrate. The Michigan High School Athletics Association brings the Boys Basketball State Tournament to town this weekend. In conjunction with the tournament, MSU's Jenison Field House hosts a family-friendly sports festival. 2016's March Magic Hoopfest features two courts full of activities, including JumpBall matches, educational clinics, a three-point shot challenge and a slam-dunk station. Coloring and games for young children are also available. 2-7 p.m Thursday-Friday; 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday. $2/FREE with MHSAA tournament ticket. Jenison Field House, 223 Kalamazoo St., East Lansing.
