Old Town Commercial Association seeks new director

Austin Ashley steps down, replacement search has begun

THURSDAY, June 16 — The Old Town Commercial Association is looking for a new executive director. Austin Ashley, who has served in that position since June 1 last year, announced that he will step down by the end of the month. A statement from the Old Town Commercial Association said that Ashley is “leaving to pursue new opportunities and focus on his creative endeavors.”

“We’re so thankful for Austin’s contributions to the neighborhood,” said Jamie Schriner-Hooper, Old Town Commercial Association board president. “We’d say we’ll miss him, but we know he’ll still be here in Old Town as a volunteer and part of the Old Town family.”

Heather Mossing, Old Town Commercial Association’s programming director, will serve as interim executive director until a director is hired.
