What's up in Lansing: Community band and more

Here's what's going on in town today

Posted

Good day on this chilly gray Thursday.

The local chapter of New Horizons band is looking for aspiring musicians to join their ranks. The organization helps adults learn a new instrument — or dust off an old one they haven't played in a while — so that they can bring music into the community. The band meets several times a week, including today. Read more about the band here. 9-11 a.m. MSU Community Music School, 4930 Hagadorn Road, East Lansing. (517) 355-7661, cms.msu.edu.
