Sally Rogers and Claudia Schmidt, who have been performing together for 30 years, celebrate their latest album Friday at the Ten Pound Fiddle. The new CD, “We Are Welcomed,” is the duo’s fourth album. Rogers and Schmidt, both Michigan natives, have toured extensively as a duo and as soloists, and both women have appeared on public radio’s “A Prairie Home Companion.” 7:30 p.m. $20/$18 Fiddle members/$5 students. For its latest exhibit, Impression 5 Science Center is getting some help from an insatiably curious little monkey. “Curious George: Let’s Get Curious!,” which opens Saturday, offers a variety of learning activities based on the adventures of H.A. and Margaret Rey’s classic children’s books. Interactive stations feature mini golf, a construction site and even a space rocket for children to explore. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday; noon-5 p.m. Sunday; closed Monday. $8.50/$7 seniors and military/children under 2 FREE.
