Here's what's going on in town today.

Happy Weekend everyone!

This Saturday is earth day, and in honor of that, please take some time to get outside this weekend at one of Lansing's many parks. View a list of some great outdoor spaces Lansing has to offer here.

On this day (April 22) in 1981, the U.S.'s largest bank robbery in history at the time took place at the first National Bank of Arizona in Tucson, the perpetrators stealing more than $3.3 million. Douglas Wayne Brown, David Lee Grandstaff, Douglas Fenimore and John Anthony Oliver were arrested five months later.

This weekend in Lansing, if you've always wanted to learn how to bellydance, your time has come. The Hannah Community Center at 819 Abbot Road in East Lansing is hosting a comprehensive two-day workshop with the Habibi Dancers as well as a public concert. The class lasts from 9 a.m. till 10 p.m. on Saturday and starts again at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
