At 3 PM, Sunday, May 21, Spoken Word takes center stage with Grace Carras, Suban Nur Cooley, and Masaki Takahashi, three dynamic performers and great favorites on the local poetry & storytelling scene. Produced by the Lansing Poetry Club, the event will take place at MICA Gallery, 1210 Turner Street in Lansing's Old Town.The featured performers will be followed by a social break and then, and Open Mike. Everyone wishing to participate in the Open Mike can throw her/his name in the hat at the front door. (Guideline: 1 poem or 4-5 minutes max.)
