What's up in Lansing: Land of the Dead

Here's what's going on in town this weekend.

Posted

Welcome to the weekend.

A zombie horde encroaches upon Elizabethan London, only to be met backstage at the Globe Theatre by William Shakespeare and his troupe of actors in LCC’s latest summer theater production. “Land of the Dead,” which opened on Wednesday, finds the Bard and his crew fighting a swarm of comedic “Shaun-of-the-Dead”-esque zombies in a family friendly production recommended for viewers 10 and up. Lawn seating is available, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and/or snacks. If rain is in the forecast, the performance will be moved to Dart Auditorium. 7 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday. FREE. LCC Outdoor Amphitheatre, between Dart Auditorium and the Gannon Building on LCC’s downtown campus. (517) 483-1488, lcc.edu/showinfo.
