What's Up in Lansing: Memorial Quilt Project

Forever imprinted in the minds of the American public, the date 9/11 holds specific meaning for many. A unique way to pay respects to the many fallen in the attacks 16 years ago is to head over to the Meridian Mall’s Memorial Quilt Project. The exhibit is host to 200 quilts from contributors from across the nation.

The quilt viewing is paired with patriotic music. The varied motifs and patterns each of the quilts differently describe the events of the tragedy.
