What's Up in Lansing: MSU Guest Recital Robert Simonds

Posted

A great way to break up the week early is to attend a concert, and attending one of a virtuoso is a great way to start. Robert Simonds has both been a soloist and a chamber and orchestral musician. His vibrant career includes membership of the Cabrillo Fesitval of Contemporary Music in Santa Cruz, California, and this year will mark his sixth with the Louisville Orchestra.

Simonds’ career began with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra and he has played across the U.S. in many other cities. His upcoming MSU Recital is a great way to get to know Simonds’ music and some interesting baroque and American styles.
