Happening Now in Lansing: Pizza Party on the Capitol Lawn

Make lunch hour count. Including pizza and ice cream, $5 admission supports scholarships for Michigan’s foster children, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the capitol lawn.

"We've got donated MSU ice cream and Hungry Howie's pizza. Come out and help foster youth go to college with all proceeds going toward Michigan's foster scholars," said Robin Lott, executive director of Michigan Education Trust and the Michigan Education Savings Program.
