Talk about a rock 'n roll survivor: So far this year, Bret Michaels has suffered an appendicitis attack, heart problems and a massive brain hemmorhage.
Then he turned around and won "Celebrity Apprentice" Sunday night.
The former lead singer of Poison ("Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "Nothing But a Good Time") will now take the stage at Common Ground Music Festival on July 15.
Michaels would probably be quite happy if you toasted his appearance with a bottle of Diet Snapple Trop-a-Rocka Tea; that was the Snapple flavor he created to win "Apprentice."
Single-day tickets to the festival are $26 per day in advance, increasing to $32 beginning July 1. A seven-day pass is $93, and a seven-day UnCommon Club VIP pass is $350.
Tickets are on sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday at the Common Ground office, 901 N. Washington Avenue in Lansing or by visiting www.commongroundfest.com. Call (800) 585-3737 for more information.
