MSU College of Music hosts 14th Annual Muelder Summer Carillon Series

The bells of Michigan State University's Beaumont Tower will ring out during the 14th Annual Muelder Summer Carillon Series starting June 30. Every Wednesday, from June 30 to July 28, the MSU College of Music will host recitals outside of Beaumont Tower featuring carillon performances on the bells within the tower. The college will offer a tour of the tower and a demonstration of the carillon after each recital.

June 30: University of Michigan carilloneur (carillon player) Steven Ball

July 7: Elizabeth Vitu and Laurent Pie of France

Julyl 14: MSU carilloneur Ray McLellan will pay tribute to the recently deceased professor and university carilloneur Wendell Wescott and former MSU administrator Dr. Milton Muelder, founder of the concert series.

July 21: Peter Langberg of Denmark

July 28: Gert Oldenbeuving of the Netherlands

Performances begin at 6 p.m. All recitals and tours are free.
