Biology on Tap - April - Human evolution: Brains and society

Tuesday, April 17
From 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

(At Harem Urban Lounge) 414 E. Michigan Ave.
Lansing Míchigan 48912

Have you ever thought you would have enjoyed biology class a whole lot more if tests weren't graded and you got to learn about it with a beer in your hand? Now is the time to test that hypothesis! Join us for this month's Biology on Tap where we serve you beer with a side of SCIENCE!

This month is a special event in collaboration with

MSU Science Festival! In honor of the festival theme, "To the Future and Back," we are hosting two MSU professors to talk to YOU about the science of human evolution!

Come listen to Dr. Mark Reimers about how evolution has shaped the human brain for social interaction and culture. Stay and hear from Dr. Richard Hill about the important role childhood has played in human evolution!

As always, Biology on Tap is FREE! We will have some fun trivia, a raffle, and prizes. Doors open at 7pm and the event starts at 7:30! All ages welcome - however, parents should be warned that talks are geared for adults, not children!

There will be drinks and pizza by the slice available for purchase, or you can bring in your own food from home or your favorite Lansing restaurant!
