On this edition of City Pulse On the Air, editor and publisher Berl Schwartz interviews Xavier DeGroat, a 30-year-old Lansing Community College student who may have been the first person with autism to serve an internship in the White House.

Arts editor Skyler Ashley spoke with Chadwick Phillips, a Minnesota artist and a concert promoter. He is also the founder of the youth development project “Hip Hop History and The Arts.” Phillips now works with the city of Lansing’s family educational program, “Building Child & Family Initiatives.” Ashley spoke with Phillips about his role as a musician and a youth instructor.

Music writer Rich Tupica concludes the show with two tracks from classic Detroit blues arts Doctor Ross the Harmonica Boss.
