City Pulse editor and publisher interviews Lansing City Council elect Brandon Betz about what it took to beat incumbent Jody Washington, and his plans for the future as Lansing’s east side representative.

 Reporter Audrey Matusz spoke with Amanda Grieshop, an artist working with the Firecracker Foundation for Friday’s Soulfire Gala, where the organization celebrates its progress in creating a safer community, especially for survivors of child sexual abuse. Grieshop collaborated with survivor Athziry Pilar, one of three girls assaulted and harassed by former Lansing police officer, Matthew Priebe.

Digital editor Skyler Ashley spoke with Anthony Edwards of the Edwards Twins, a pair of brothers that are famous for their celebrity impersonations. Their act comes to Dimondale Sunday, Nov. 17
