NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING EAST LANSING CITY COUNCIL

Notice is hereby given of the following public hearing to be held by the East Lansing City Council on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 7:00 p.m., at Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Rd., East Lansing, MI 48823.

1. A public hearing on the request from Hassan Beydoun of Decora, Inc. on behalf of Pizza Wala’s for approval of a Special Use Permit located at 523 E. Grand River Avenue. The applicant request is to allow service of alcohol for on-site consumption. The property is zoned B-3 City Center Commercial.
2. A public hearing to consider Ordinance 1543, minor amendments to the Zoning Ordinance (Chapter 50 of the City’s Code of Ordinances) and Sign Code (Chapter 32) which are meant to be corrections and clarifications, and not policy changes.

The public may attend and participate at all meetings in person. The City of East Lansing will provide reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as interpreters for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities upon request received by the City seven (7) calendar days prior to the meeting.
