NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING EAST LANSING CITY COUNCIL PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY OF EAST LANSING’S COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM CITIZEN PARTICIPATION PLAN

Notice is hereby given that the East Lansing City Council of the City of East Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan will hold a meeting and public hearing on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 7:00PM. This meeting and public hearing will be held at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road, East Lansing, MI 48823. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider amending the City of East Lansing’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program Citizen Participation Plan. This public hearing will follow a public comment period on the proposed amendments. The public comment period will begin June 5, 2025, and end July 8, 2025 at 5PM.

A staff report (Agenda Item Report) for this public hearing will be published on the City’s website the Friday before the meeting. To locate staff reports, please visit the City’s public meeting portal at https://cityofeastlansing.civicweb.net/Portal/ and select the meeting date. The public may view the proposed amendments to the City of East Lansing Citizen Participation Plan at the Department of Planning, Building, and Development, East Lansing City Hall, 410 Abbot Road, East Lansing, MI 48823 between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm, or online at https://cityofeastlansing.com/2458/Active-Public-Notices.

The City of East Lansing will provide reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as interpreters for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities upon request received by the City seven (7) calendar days prior to the meeting.
