Zedd performs at Common Ground on June 28.
FRIDAY, March 22 —Common Ground taps into the growing market of young Internet sensations with new additions Zedd, Playboi Carti, Yung Gravy, DJ Elephante and Carlie Hanson.
Zedd, a GRAMMY award-winning artist/DJ/Producer will headline the festival on June 28 at Adado Riverfront Park in downtown Lansing. The multi-instrumentalist has collaborated with acts including: Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, Alessia Cara, Ellie Goulding and Hayley Williams.
Playboi Carti is a “SoundCloud rapper” success story. Just two years ago, the Atlanta-based rapper was releasing low quality tracks on streaming platforms that became as valuable as gold to optimistic, frustrated teenagers entrenched in underground hip-hop.
After releasing two full-length albums containing singles like “Magnolia” and “Shoota,” featuring Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti has become a staple in the hip-hop scene.
Additional acts include Ann Arbor native DJ Elephante, Yung Gravy and 18-year-old rising star, Carlie Hanson.
Single Day Tickets for Friday, June 28 go on-sale to the public on Friday, March 22 at 10:00 AM
