LEGAL NOTICE

Zoning Amendment #2026-05 (Backyard Chicken and Rabbits Update)

The Township Board at its regular meeting on May 19, 2026 approved for introduction and subsequent adoption Ordinance 2026-05, an Ordinance to update the standards for the keeping of backyard chickens and rabbits.

A complete copy of the amendment may be viewed at the Community Planning and Development office, 5151 Marsh Road, Okemos, Michigan 48864-1198 (phone 517-853-4560), between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
