The Ten Pound Fiddle has invited two rising stars in folk music to the intimate Robin Theatre for a twin bill tonight.
Abigayle Oakley competed on NBC’s “The Voice” earlier this year and earned an all-chair turn from coaches John Legend, Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson. She has opened for artists such as The War and Treaty, Jed and the Valentine and Forest Blakk.
Fairhazel is the moniker of multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Hugh Macdonald, who has opened for The Script, Nell Mescal, Jade Bird, Blanco White and beyond. He has also been booked three years running as a headliner for rock band Counting Crows’ festival, Underwater Sunshine.
Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Guests can purchase drinks from Sleepwalker Spirits & Ale next door to the venue.
