March 17, 2026, at 6:00 pm –   Present: Supervisor Stroud, Clerk Briggs-Dudley, Treasurer C. Hoppes, Trustee Currie, Trustee M. Hoppes and 8 citizens

Board Actions:

• Approved continuing participation in Clinton County Early Voting.
• Approved bills for March, 2026.
• Approved agreement with Planning Commission recommendation on Land Division Act.
• Approved sending Eagle Township Land Division Ordinance to attorney for review.
• Approved maintenance to waterproof the west side of township hall.
• Approved Clinton County Road Commission contracts for 2026.
• Approved attorney to review assessor agreements.
• Approved assessor job posting.
• Adopted Resolution 03-17-2026-01 Opposing State Preemption of Local Zoning.
• Approved clerk to sign letter of engagement for audit of FY 25-26.
• Approved 3 year lawn maintenance agreement for Niles Cemetery.
• Approved budget amendments for FY 25-26 budget.
• Approved contribution to Tri-County Metro Narcotics Unit.
• Approved lawyer to review 2026 Grand Ledge Master Plan draft.
• Approved zoning administrator provide response to 2026 Grand Ledge Master Plan draft.

Budget Workshop Synopsis

March 17, 2026, at 8:40 pm –   Present: Supervisor Stroud, Clerk Briggs-Dudley, Treasurer C. Hoppes, Trustee Currie, Trustee M. Hoppes and 4 citizens. 

Board Actions:

• Approved increase to hourly maintenance wage.
• Approved update to deputies’ salary.
• Approved chipseal of Eden Trail subdivision.
