We are proud supporters of local artists. Lansing native and artist Alex Torres’ animal figurines garner international attention at art shows. However, before he made it around the world, this autistic artist was stocked on our shelves. He still is to this day. Visit Absolute Gallery to see his quaint and charismatic handcrafted animal figurines. From zebras to giraffes, Torres’ renditions of animal expressions are from a perspective all his own. We also support artists beyond the storefront with our framing capabilities.

We’ve framed pieces from Lansing artist and refugee Razmin Ahmadzada, who fled his native Afghanistan because his art was controversial. Ahmazada was selected as one of six “emerging artists” in the 2019 East Lansing Art Festival. We also framed local artist Chyna Bach, the winner of Michigan’s 2019 Congressional Art Competition. Feel free to give us a call about any framing or art inquiries. Remember to buy and support local artists!
