‘Midnite’

Michigan State University’s Department of Theatre continues its season with a modern take on William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

Written by Reina Hardy and Rory Leahy and directed by Professor Rob Roznowski, the play follows a group of college-aged film majors as they travel into the woods to shoot a horror movie. What starts as a simple project soon develops into an unexpected confrontation with extraordinary forces of love and madness.

“Midnite” draws on the expertise of drag consultant Crystal D’Light, who helped the production team bring the show’s unique style and spirit to the stage.

Tickets are $28.50, with discounts for seniors, faculty, students and youth.
