Notice is hereby given of the following public hearings to be held by the East Lansing Historic District Commission on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., at East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road, East Lansing, Michigan 48823:
- A public hearing to receive and discuss consideration of a Certificate of Appropriateness from Wayne Hiner located at 609 W. Grand River Avenue. The applicant request is to replace aluminum windows with vinyl windows.
- A public hearing to receive and discuss consideration of a Certificate of Appropriateness from Wayne Hiner located at 348 Oakhill Avenue. The applicant request is to replace vinyl windows with vinyl windows.
- A public hearing to receive and discuss consideration of a Certificate of Appropriateness from Wayne Hiner located at 542 Sunset Lane. The applicant request is to replace a flagstone retaining wall with precast concrete block.
- A public hearing to receive and discuss consideration of a Certificate of Appropriateness from Holly Jo Sparks located at 711 W. Grand River. The applicant request is to replace vinyl windows with vinyl windows and add new aluminum flashing.
- A public hearing to receive and discuss consideration of a Certificate of Appropriateness from John Munn located at 531 Dorothy Lane. The applicant request is to replace diamond pattern shingles with architectural asphalt shingles.
- A public hearing to receive and discuss consideration of a Notice to Proceed from Jim Dershem located at 217 Beech Street. The applicant request is to add 2.91 sf of concrete to the south side of the original paved area.
- A public hearing to receive and discuss consideration of a Certificate of Appropriateness from Emily Koryto located at 328 Chesterfield Parkway. The applicant request is to install an egress window well and cover at the front of the house.
Owners of structures containing more than four (4) dwelling units or other distinct spatial areas owned or leased by different persons are requested to post this notice at the primary entrance to the structure.
