The Turner-Dodge House and Heritage Center invites families to gather for an enchanted day of activities at its annual Fairytale Festival, including opportunities to meet and take photos with fairytale characters, “magical” displays such as the fan-favorite gnome house and mushrooms, whimsical vendors, nonprofit information tables, food trucks, arts and crafts, a free book giveaway, live music by acts such as folk group Pretty Shaky String Band, dance performances and more. Festivities on the lawn are free, while a $5 donation is required for attendees 5 and older to enter the house. Costumes are encouraged, as are lawn chairs.
