Nonprofit media production company Media Messengers’ annual Bless Fest Weekend promises free fun for the whole family, including games, basketball contests, a kids’ area with activities such as bounce houses and bubbles, giveaways, raffles and a slew of musical performances.

The two-day event begins with Lansing Flo-Fest, an evening of clean, Christian hip-hop, featuring performances by Kevi Morse of Grand Rapids, Bobby Bendito of Saginaw, Paul “Goodson” Collins of Detroit and DJ Y’z of Lansing. Collins will also serve as the evening’s host.

Saturday’s Lansing Bless Fest will feature a variety of Christian artists, including world music chorus Company of Christ; pop musician Joe Jarvis; rock groups His DNA and Veteran Band; hip-hop collective The Blessings Are Real; and gospel groups Spoken Praise, Michelle Miller Bell & the “Let It Flow” Band and the Lansing Collective Worship Encounter. Between sets, guests can fuel up with free burgers and hot dogs while perusing a selection of free clothing, shoes and books.

Complimentary bottled water, snacks, seating and shade tents will be available to guests both days. For more information, visit mediamessengers.org.
