Lansing LIT

Lansing LIT is a weekend-long festival celebrating Lansing’s thriving literary community with a host of related activities, including author events, readings, performances, book fairs and more.
The fan-favorite bookstore crawl begins Friday and runs through Saturday. Participating bookstores include Deadtime Stories, The Robin Books, A Novel Concept and EVERYbody Reads.
Other major events include a boozy book fair at Hooked; readings of Lansing Community College’s literary journal, Washington Square Review, at Dart Auditorium; Batman Day, an all-day event at Summit Comics and Games; a Michigan author book market at EVERYbody Reads and The Avenue Cafe; an exhibition of collage poetry by Lansing Collage Club founder Chelsea Lake Roberts at The Robin Theatre; and visits by authors such as Renee Ozburn, A. Rae Dunlap and Tracie Webb.
