NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
EAST LANSING HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION
Notice is hereby given of the following public hearings to be held by the East Lansing Historic District Commission on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the City of East Lansing Public Library, 950 Abbot Road, East Lansing, Michigan 48823:
- A public hearing to receive and discuss consideration of a Certificate of Appropriateness from John Hudgins, located at 139 Kedzie Street. The applicant request is for replacement of a wood porch to restore the brick surround, concrete steps, wood decking and metal handrails for the front porch.
- A public hearing to receive and discuss consideration of a Certificate of Appropriateness from Noah McNulty, located at 225 Collingwood Drive. The applicant request is to install one Andersen Woodwright double hung window to the bedroom addition on the back of the house.
- A public hearing to receive and discuss consideration of a Certificate of Appropriateness from Ashley Sutton, located at 937 Cresenwood Road. The applicant request is to replace the existing architectural asphalt shingle roofing with Brava composite shake shingle roofing.
- A public hearing to receive and discuss consideration of a Certificate of Appropriateness from Greg Main, located at 603 Division Street. The applicant request is for approval for demolition of a storm damaged garage.
- A public hearing to receive and discuss consideration of a Certificate of Appropriateness from Casey Odom, located at 831 Huntington Road. The applicant request is for gutter and downspout replacement with a larger system.
- A public hearing to receive and discuss consideration of a Certificate of Appropriateness from Jarrod Olsen, located at 501 Hillcrest Avenue. The applicant request is to replace cedar siding with T1-11 siding.
- A public hearing to receive and discuss consideration of a Certificate of Appropriateness from Holly Jo Sparks, located at 140 Collingwood Drive. The applicant request is to replace the handrail and do concrete repair.
Owners of structures containing more than four (4) dwelling units or other distinct spatial areas owned or leased by different persons are requested to post this notice at the primary entrance to the structure.

The City of East Lansing will provide reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as interpreters for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities upon request received by the City seven (7) calendar days prior to the meeting.
