NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held on Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Tony Benavides Lansing City Council Chambers, 10th Floor, Lansing City Hall, 124 W. Michigan Avenue, Lansing, Michigan for the purpose of considering:

An ordinance of the City of Lansing, Michigan, to amend Title 8 of the Lansing Codified Ordinances to add to add new Chapter 245, Sections 245.01, 245.02, 245.03, 245.04 and 245.05 to provide powers and duties of the Office of the Independent Internal Auditor, including the appointment, suspension, and removal of the Internal Auditor, and to provide for the office function.
