Lansing’s giant Red Balls (or ornaments, as city officials have to call them) were installed today.
The large fiberglass orbs mark the start of the holiday shopping season in downtown as well as the kickoff ahead of Silver Bells, which is expected to bring 40,000 people into downtown for a parade, light show and singing.
