Queer Heart of Michigan Voices winter concert auditions

After taking about a month off to rest from its spring concerts and Lansing Pride performance, Queer Heart of Michigan Voices, the area’s newest LGBTQ+ chorus, is holding open auditions for its winter concert, “Winter’s Snow and Hearth’s Glow.”

The concert will feature hits from iconic movies such as “Frozen 2,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “The Polar Express,” as well as wintry tunes by Sia, Pentatonix and more.

Any queer adult, regardless of vocal range, is welcome to try out for the SATB choir. Interested parties should prepare a holiday song of their choosing and bring sheet music. The choir is also looking for piano accompanists.
