NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
East Lansing Historic District Commission
Notice is hereby given of the following public hearings to be held by the East Lansing Historic District Commission on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the City of East Lansing Public Library, 950 Abbot Road, East Lansing, Michigan 48823:
- A public hearing to receive and discuss consideration of a Certificate of Appropriateness from Kelley Folino, located at 614 Forest Street. The applicant request is for chimney work including brick, cap and tuckpointing.
- A public hearing to receive and discuss consideration of a Certificate of Appropriateness from John Hudgins, located at 139 Kedzie Street. The applicant request is for after the fact approval for replacement of an existing wood, brick and concrete porch and metal handrails with a wood porch, steps and handrails.
- A public hearing to receive and discuss consideration of a Certificate of Appropriateness from Macy DeFouw on behalf of Foundation Specialist, located at 350 Kensington Road. The applicant request is to extend a downspout into the front yard and add a bubbler cap.
Owners of structures containing more than four (4) dwelling units or other distinct spatial areas owned or leased by different persons are requested to post this notice at the primary entrance to the structure.

Written comments may be sent by 5 pm the day prior to the public hearing to the Historic District Commission, City of East Lansing, 410 Abbot Road, East Lansing, Michigan, 48823, or by email to coelhdc@cityofeastlansing.com.
The City of East Lansing will provide reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as interpreters for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities upon request received by the City seven (7) calendar days prior to the meeting.
