Berkey Hall will be open on Friday at 7 am.

It was closed Thursday (Sept. 3, 2026) after a reported threat relayed by a medical professional, with authorities taking a person in Washtenaw County into protective custody, according to university police, in a statement.

The person is not a MSU student or employee, according to the statement.
