Peace Education Center Alternative Holiday Sale

For more than 50 years, the Peace Education Center has brought together local artists, nonprofits, fair-trade organizations and small businesses for its annual Alternative Holiday Sale. This year’s event features more than 30 vendors, but it offers attendees more than just holiday shopping. Just Peace Chorus will perform a free concert and sing-along on Friday, while the Lansing Children’s Choir will perform on Saturday. Mediterranean eats from Sultan’s Restaurant will be available for purchase on Friday. Saturday’s menu includes homemade soups, bread, salads and desserts. There will also be a silent auction and a raffle. Admission is free, and all are welcome.
