CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF MERIDIAN LEGAL NOTICE OF INTRODUCTION Ordinance #2025-05 (Lansing Board of Water and Light Electric Franchise Ordinance)

The Township Board at its regular meeting on June 3, 2025, introduced Ordinance 2025-05 to grant the City of Lansing by its LANSING BOARD OF WATER AND LIGHT, its successors and assigns, the rights, privileges, and franchise to construct, maintain and commercially use electric lines and power facilities consisting of towers, masts, poles, crossarms, guys, braces, feeders, transmission and distribution wires, transformers, switchgear, substations, and other electrical appliances on, over, under, along and across the highways, streets, alleys, bridges and other public places, and to conduct a local electric utilitybusiness in the CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF MERIDIAN, INGHAM COUNTY, MICHIGAN, for a period of thirty years.
