NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE EVALUATION REPORT AVAILABLE
City of East Lansing Community Development Block Grant Program
The City of East Lansing has completed the PY 2025 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report covering activities from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. This is to provide notice that the formal 15 calendar day comment period on the Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report begins on September 3, 2026, and concludes on September 17, 2026. Individuals wishing to view this report may do so virtually at https://www.cityofeastlansing.com/2458/Active-Public-Notices. Upon request, this document may also be viewed in person at the City of East Lansing Department of Community and Economic Development, Room 217, East Lansing City Hall, 410 Abbot Road, East Lansing, Michigan between the hours of 8:00AM to 12:00PM and 1:00PM to 5:00PM.
The City of East Lansing will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 5:30PM at East Lansing Hannah Community Center 819 Abbot Road, East Lansing MI 48823 Room 235, to receive comments on CDBG program performance during the 2025 Program Year. Individuals and groups wishing to comment on program performance are encouraged to attend the public hearing.
Written comments may also be submitted and should be addressed to the Community and Economic Development Department, C/O Heather Pope, 410 Abbot Road, East Lansing, MI 48823, or by email at hpope@cityofeastlansing.com, no later than 5:00PM on September 17, 2026, or should be presented at the public hearing.
The City of East Lansing will provide reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as interpreters for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities upon request received by the City seven (7) calendar days prior to the meeting. Individuals with disabilities requiring aids or services must contact the Community and Economic Development Office, (517) 319-6877 (TDD Number: 1-800-649-3777) or via email at hpope@cityofeastlansing.com.
This notice is posted in compliance with PA 267 of 1976 as amended (Open Meetings Act) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and published in compliance with the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, 2006 P.A. 110.
