Here's what's going on in town today

Good day on this summery Monday.

You may have heard of Tai Chi, a system of exercises and breathing routines that combines meditation and fitness. Harris Nature Center hosts a course in a similar practice, Qigong, which promises to quiet the mind while improving posture and helping the participant focus. The course meets on Monday evenings. See the nature center's website for exact schedule. 6:30-7:30 p.m. $10. Harris Nature Center, 3998 Van Atta Road, Meridian Township. (517) 349-3866,
