Good day and happy United Nations Spanish Language Day.
Fifty years ago Michigan State University played "The Game of the Century" against Notre Dame. In celebration, MSU's Archives and Historical Collections hosts an evening of football talk with players from the historic game. Players speaking include Jimmy Raye, Clinton Jones, Regis Cavender, Bob Apisa, Jerry West, Sterling Armstrong, defensive coordinator Hank Bullough — and from the other side, George Goeddeke of Notre Dame. Sports radio broadcaster and author Jack Ebling serves as moderator. Tom Shanahan, author of “Raye of Light,” also joins the discussion to provide insight into the historical importance of the “Game of the Century.” Register online. 6-8 p.m. FREE.
