July’s Book Club meeting set for July 12 at City Pulse office

The City Pulse Book Club’s July offering is “Summer of ’68: The Season that Changed Baseball and America Forever,” by Tim Wendel. The non-fiction work looks at the Tigers’ championship season against the backdrop of post-riot Detroit.

The club will meet this time at City Pulse’s office, 1905 E. Michigan Ave., starting at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 12. Parking is available behind City Pulse. Both the front and back doors will be open.
