Broad Art Museum curator of contemporary art speaks tonight at MSU

Wednesday, Feb. 29 — Alison Gass, curator of contemporary art at Michigan State University's Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum, hosts an evening of art and conversation tonight, beginning at 6:30 in Room 118 of the Psychology Building.

Gass’ lecture focuses on what she's found during her travels to galleries and studios around the world. She will also be discussing projects that will be featured in the museum’s programs. The Broad Art Museum is scheduled to open in September.

The discussion is part of the Broad Art Museum at MSU Lecture Series, in which museum staffers host conversations highlighting up-and-coming artists and trends in contemporary art. Museum director Michael Rush hosted a lecture last month, and Dan Hirsch, curator of performances and public programs, hosts the next session March 22.

The talk is free. For more information, visit
